A girl from Santigold's video for "Girls" (HBO's Girls soundtrack)
Less than 24 hours after the cast and crew of HBO's Girls wrecked shop at the Golden Globes, Santigold releases "Girls"--the gal-power anthem she recorded for its soundtrack. In keeping with the spirit of the show and the song the video is composed of a bunch of stylish, empowered, comfortable-in-their-own-skin girls about town having fun and singing along with the toy-robot chorus, like an army of DIY Cyndi Laupers for the youtube generation. Kind of impossible not to like this thing--watch below and try not to bop along. You might even see some cool girls you know skating 'round the ring (oh hey, Anoma, Emily and Lindsay!)
