Return Of The Chocolate Droppa: Kevin Hart Spits Bars, Speaks On Dave Chappelle's Eternal Brilliance

To many, Kevin Hart's ascent to the top tiers of the comedy world has only been made possible by the absence of the greats. Namely, comedy's sleeping giant: Dave ChappelleBut it's hard to argue that Hart's relentless work ethic hasn't helped to facilitate his seemingly boundless successes. A recent plunge into Sway's Universe, however, finds Hart divulging just how Chappelle's eternal brilliance inspired himself and yes, even the mighty Chris Rock, during that one magical night at NYC's Comedy Cellar, where Chappelle briefly took the stage and delivered a performance that Hart claims had him and Rock balling up their material and chucking it to the wind, in awe of just how effortless Chappelle's flow was and how much more they'd still had to learn from the reclusive great.

Hart also speaks to Louis C.K.'s method, proving just how analytical his comedic mind is, breaking down every facet of his legendary delivery and writing. Capping it all off, Hart reprises his bar-spitting alter-ego, Chocolate Droppa, going off the dome over Biggie's "Machine Gun Funk," which was characteristically hilarious. Watch Kevin Hart's Sway's Universe interview below to get your week started with a smile. His new film Central Intelligence is out nationwide this Friday.
