Philly-based, globally-manifested DJ (and now super-producer) Wesley "Diplo" Pentz had a book of his international exploits published by Universe today under the title 128 Beats Per Minute. The premise is simple: photog Shane McCauley followed Wes from his Mad Decent block parties in Philadelphia to gigs in Kingston, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong--among others (see Trinidad, above with frequent LargeUp contributor Jillionaire and watch the trailer below). Writer Alexander Wang provided the foreword and Friedrich Nietzsche provided the philosophical underpinnings. Seriously.
