Watch Miguel Perform "Coffee" Live In Session For Jack Daniels' Uncut Series
On the way to Miguel’s freshly announced Wildheart LP, we were graced with the inaugural serving of sweat-soaked and raunchy r&b-ism in the lead-off single “Coffee” just last week, touched with some sensual bars from Wale in its updated state. Today, we have a new live rendition of the track to share with you, featuring Miguel and the band performing their sultry number in a black and white, bottle-nosed visual for Jack Daniels’ Uncut series. It’s a true-to-form take on the studio version, but certainly offers a taste of what the track might sound like on a stage near you. And seeing as how no tour dates have been announced just yet, this clip should hold you over for the time being. Miguel’s third studio album Wildheart will be arriving June 30th for an anxious audience, who got a brief taste of what that live and direct might sound like when he joined Prince on stage this weekend in Baltimore for a quick feature on “Forever In My Life” and also landed on the hook of A$AP Rocky‘s new single “Everyday”. So while you wait, peep this clip of Miguel performing his new single “Coffee” live in session with the band in tow and keep your eyes and ears peeled for some new funk on the horizon in the very near future.
