A new David Bowie documentary featuring unreleased music, alternate artwork, and footage is coming to BBC Two. The docuemntary, which is titled David Bowie: The Last Five Years, will premiere on January 7th. David Bowie: The Last Five Years will focus on the end of Bowie's career by looking at his last studio album Blackstar andhis album The Next Day, which was released in 2013. It will also cover the musical Lazarus and Bowie's 2003 Reality tour. The one year anniversary of Bowie's death is nearing. Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016 in Manhattan, New York City. He was 69 years-old. The documentary includes multiple interviews with Bowie's collaborators including Maria Schneider, Donny McCaslin, Jonathan Barnbrook, Johan Renck, Robert Fox, who was the producer of Lazarus, and many others. David Bowie: The Last Five Years will premiere on BBC Two at 9 p.m. GMT this coming Saturday, January 7.
