Sign A Petition To Establish A Sirius XM Channel Of All Prince, All The Time

It appears Prince-related petitions are all the rage these days. Just ask the slew of Madonna Hive members that came after one that pleads with The Billboard Music Awards to remove the pop icon from their Prince tribute this Sunday. A new form and plea has surfaced in the the last few days that makes a very different request of a very different organization.

Sirius XM, which we can only assume people still listen to despite the existence far superior alternatives on the web, has specially-dedicated channels that respectively play the music of Frank Sinatra, Ozzy Osbourne, B.B. King and a grip of other luminary figures, but has yet to establish a channel for recently departed Purple One, who passed on April 21st in his Minnesota home and studio. With 39 released studio albums and a back catalogue of mythical proportions, there's really no need for a petition like this to even exist. Paisley Park Radio is a clear hit even as a hypothetical. Presumably, there are very real licensing hurdles that will need be scaled in order for this dream to hop out the factory, but adding your signature, even if internet petitions rarely get things done, is at least one way to let Sirius know just how necessary and proper an all-Prince station would be. Hit the link below to sign and hold tight for updates on any movement at this front.
