N.O.R.E. Calls Past Beef With Nas "The Darkest Years Of My Life"

N.O.R.E. is glad that he and Nas no longer have beef.

While promoting his recently released album 5E, the New York rapper took to Hot 97 to talk about the new project, his Drink Champs podcast, and his past feud with fellow rapper Nas.

"To tell you the truth those was like the darkest years of my life beefing with Nas," N.O.R.E. said. "Because no one wants to stand next to anybody who has beef with Nas."

"The minute I squashed it with him my life got bright again," N.O.R.E. continued. "That was something in my life that was broken."

The "Superthug" artist also talked about the first time he met Andre 3000 and revealed that he wants the Outkast rapper to be a guest on his Drink Champs series.

"You have no idea how shy I got. I literally became a fan again," N.O.R.E. said. "I walked over and was like 'Yo, I don't know if you know me' and he jumped like 'What the f**k did you just say? What planet do you think I live on N.O.R.E.?'"

"I gave him a hug and then I walked away and my friend Shampoo walks over [to 3000] and he goes 'N.O.R.E. wants your management contact and he goes 'N.O.R.E. doesn't need my manager contact, tell N.O.R.E. to come over and get my phone," he continued. "So gave me his phone and then he said 'DM me.'"

N.O.R.E. laughs at this particular moment, adding that 3000 meant texting when he told the Queens rapper to DM him.

N.O.R.E.'s latest album 5E is his first in five years and features appearances from Pharrell, Fabolous, Fat Joe, and others.
