Vic Mensa Reportedly Dissed XXXTentacion During His BET Awards Freestyle

The Chicago rapper allegedly insulted the controversial late rapper during an unreleased taping of the upcoming show while XXX's mother was in attendance.

During a taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards in Miami this weekend, Vic Mensa reportedly rapped a freestyle in which he dissed the late, controversial rapper XXXTentacion.

XXX's former DJ, South Florida's DJ Scheme took to twitter to call out Mensa, writing, "When y'all hear Vic Mensas fucking freestyle at the BET awards y'all are going to be fucking disgusted."

The 24-year-old Chicago rapper allegedly dissed the rapper while XXX's mother, Cleo was in the audience.

As of now, no footage of the performance has leaked online.

XXXTentacion, who was posthumously awarded Best New Hip Hop Artist at the show, was shot dead in June at the age of 20.

The rapper faced a slew of accusations of violent crimes against a woman— including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering.

At the time of his death, he was awaiting trial on the charges.
