Maxine Waters on Death Threats: "If You Shoot Me You Better Shoot Straight"
Maxine Waters is not to be trifled with
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has been one of the most outspoken critics of President Donald Trump. Because of that, Waters has gotten death threats.
She doesn’t seem to be scared.
On Saturday, Waters appeared at an immigration rally in California. During the rally, Waters addressed the crowd. In her nearly ten minute speech, she had some words for people who are threatening her:
I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me…All I have to say is this, if you shoot me you better shoot straight, there’s nothing like a wounded animal.
The moment came at around the 3:45 mark.
A congresswoman said “If you shoot me you better shoot straight.” What a time. Waters statements come during a hectic week in which Trump sent a tweet about Waters calling her “an extraordinary low IQ person.”
Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party. She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement. Be careful what you wish for Max!
