Mark Ronson's "I Can't Lose" Gets Stretched Out And Disco-fied On A Remix From Lindstrøm

Mark Ronson's Uptown Special stand-out "I Can't Lose" doesn't need any assistance in being one of the funkiest pop-tinged compositions of the year. But a little four-to-floor freaking from a modern disco and house pioneer never hurt anybody. And that's precisely what we got when the Norwegian hitmaker known to most as Lindstrøm put his touch to the record (which just got a very Harlem Nights-esque visual last week.) The opening drum break gets phased and dazed and effected in all of the right ways as he stretches out Ronson's cut. It's less a transformation than a perfectly apt amplification of all the track's brightest moments, but certainly fun little ditty to wind down your say with or throw on to the workout mix.
