Ka delivers the self-directed video for "Peace Akhi" - the latest single to emerge from The Night's Gambit LP - full of stark images and equally chilling lyricism built upon the tragic irony of the hook which plays on the word piece - one of the many slang terms for a firearm - and the concept of peace, or a significant lack thereof. As joints continue to spill forth from his most recent release, it becomes increasingly evident that Ka is quickly establishing himself as one of the realest MCs to ever rise to the surface. He hits the sparse track with a menacing calm usually reserved made men in big budget pictures, building a suspenseful and painfully raw tale around the track. He rounds the narrative out with a black & white visual that eschews the turmoil he describes in favor of syncing the track to a game of chess - a stylistic choice that somehow manages to make the clip much more gripping.
