HXLT
I’m a little late on this one, but this is too live to let slip by.
You may remember him as Hollywood Holt from the Treated Crew, but the Chicago MC/producer makes his return with a new label, a new sound, and a new name, HXLT. Since signing to G.O.O.D Music earlier this year, we’ve only heard a series of covers on his Soundcloud page, but his first original song under his new name has really grabbed my attention.
At the end of last week, HXLT dropped his new single “Live To Death”. The brief but dope visuals feature HXLT with more of an alternative sound with pure punk energy from start to finish.
Watch the video below, and look for his debut album on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam to hopefully drop in the near future.
