Action Bronson Goes Off On The Silky New Single "Terry"
Action Bronson‘s debut as Mr. Wonderful is just around the corner good people, so it seems only proper that we’d be getting little sonic treats here and there to help us bide the time. But if you were looking for dusty-sample-rapping Bronsolino, this is not where you’ll find him. “Terry” shows the burly bomber reminiscing over a dime while the track takes a jazzy, diminished chord walk with a prime boom bap shuffle, providing young blue eyes with a lovely sonic specimen to get all nostalgic over. That is, of course, until the track sprawls out into a bed of sinister synthesizers.
“Terry” provides us with yet another taste of what’s to come on Bronson’s full-length, major label debut as Mr. Wonderful and already has all the makings of a bonafide classic, even a month before it arrives. We’ve gotten his take on the iconic “Easy Rider,” complete with acid-binged visuals. We’ve seen what the Bronson of the future might sound like with his Noah 40 Shebib collaboration “Actin Crazy,” but today it’s time observe the endlessly charismatic Queens MC on some smoothness. Listen to Action Bronson’s latest single “Terry” below and stay tuned for the preoder links in the weeks to come, as we creep up on the release of Mr. Wonderful on March 24th. You can also jump back to see what your boy can do on that “Uptown Funk” to get acquainted with the Ronson/Bronson duo, as they also promise to be on the new record.
