UK Man Sentenced To 18 Years In Joss Stone Murder Plot
UK soul singer Joss Stone can breathe a bit easier following the sentencing of Junior Bradshaw, one of two men accused of plotting to rob and kill the singer at her home in Devon, England in 2011. Bradshaw was found guilty during a trial at Exeter Crown Court in April. Bradshaw reportedly denied understanding his role in the crime - a claim that plays into his mental diagnoses, including schizophrenia and low IQ. His sentencing was delayed and ultimately reduced because of his pre-existing issues and his role as an accomplice to Kevin Liverpool - a man described as the mastermind of the plot. Bradshaw must serve at least 10 years and eight months of the sentence. Liverpool has already served two years of his life sentence. At the time of their arrest the men were found with a body bag and a number of weapons, including a sword, chisel and hammers.
