Listen To The Full Stream Of Pheo.'s 'The Adret'
A few months back, Moreno Valley, California MC, Pheo., had me hooked on his music (and avocados) with his AFTA-1 produced joint, “Medianos”.
The track banged and was accompanied by the promise of a new project, which marked his first in over two years. Dubbed The Adret, Pheo.’s latest full-length effort has now arrived.
For those not well-versed in the language of love, Adret is French for a side of a mountain that receives direct sunlight. The 8-track release features contributions from Stevie Crooks, D’Moor, Steve Liriks, Frank Deux, AFTA-1, Mikos Da Gawd, J Money, and more. Pheo. describes the project:
All eight tracks radiate a similar theme of seeking the inner-energy necessary to overcome your largest obstacles. When looking back, it was that fateful pastrami run [the trip where Pheo. learned he had been dropped from Epic Records] that led Pheo. to his current vibe, rooted in discovering true perspective on your existence, while appreciating life's opportunities.
