A few weeks ago, Mick Jenkins dropped one of the better songs I’ve heard this year with the modern day spiritual, “Drowning.” If you haven’t seen the video, go ahead and check that. Yesterday,the Chicago emcee was a guest on Ebro in the Morning to discuss the song amongst many other topics.
Mick speaks on the popularity of “mumble rap” and the evolution of hip-hop, Mick’s inspirations, Chance The Rapper’s success, and more.
