Back by popular demand,Marvel's immeasurably dope (and equally coveted) hip-hop-inspired comic book covers are getting a fresh new packaging for the holidays. Well, just after the holidays, technically. The comic book giant plans to release 14 of the 50-plus remix covers in a 32-page book on January 6th, exclusively in comic book retailers across the country.
If the numbers don't quite add up for you, don't worry, we're all scratching our heads a little. But one things is for certain: you'll soon be able to own some of these incredible images and maybe even possess a few mock-ups that weren't included in their two-month run on shelves. Little is known about just what to expect, but this is certainly a promising start for those who (like myself) just want to blow the covers up and throw them on every damn wall in the house. No movement yet on that front, but you know precisely where to get the goods once they start rolling out details. If you need a little reminder of just how proper these homages have been, please do jump back and refresh on the many, many marvels of Marvel.
