Kanye West‘s recent musical offerings have underlined his kinder, gentler side. But that doesn’t mean the sun-crushing monster inside of him is dead and gone. Yeezus still stands as the MC/producer/fashion luminary’s most recent masterpiece, and now a new, unfinished track has hit the net–and it’s the mean Ye we all know and love.

“All Day,” a rough demo cut steeped in Yeezus grime, has been floating around for months now, but a new longer and seemingly more-polished version has just appeared on Soundcloud. Loaded up with grimy synths and strong arm bravado, the boast track fits right in with the club-crushing material of recent G.O.O.D. Music offerings. Distorted vocals a la “Monster” and a rattling beat all but guarantee that “All Day” will some day be obliterating SUV stereos, but really it’s Kanye’s raps that steal the show. “Got a middle finger longer than Dikembe”–is there anything else to be said?

We’ve been teased by the Chi-town rap god before. Last summer saw the leak, and then immediate disappearance, of “God Level,” another track that fits right in with Yeezus‘s avant-aggro-rap vibe. Is “All Day” from the cutting room floor, or a sign of wild things to come? Only time will tell, but with news that Kanye will perform solo at the upcoming Grammy Awards, it seems we’ll soon know much, much more. In the meantime, West is also keeping his fashion game vibrant–news just arrived that his new collaboration with Adidas will debut during the upcoming New York Fashion Week. A musical unveiling may be just around the corner, but for now enjoy “All Day” below.
