VH1's Hip-Hop Honors Will Return This Summer To Salute The Femme Fatales Of The Game

Following a six year hiatus, VH1's star-studded Hip-Hop Honors ceremony and performance appears to be on the comeback. And this time, it's for the ladies. According to Billboard, Hip-Hop Honors is slated to return with a live broadcast on July 11th right here in the Mecca: New York City.

Though they've yet to announce precisely who will be honored at this year's performance, speculation is swirling around which femme fatales will be called up, as there's certainly no shortage of deserved microphone menaces and mavens that have rocked over the years. Hip-Hop Honors has been one of the only official stages where the luminaries of the game can get the love and respect they deserve for all they've given us over the years. And while we won't know who will hit the stage this year for a few more weeks (or whether they'll take the show on the road, as they have in years past) we can rest assured that this year's ceremony will be of the must-see sort.
