Big Boi Announces A Year-Long Vegas Residency
Is 2016 the year that Big Boi becomes the rap-game Wayne Newton? According to Pitchfork, that just might be the case, as the ATL rapper, one half of the legendary OutKast duo, has announced a year-long residency at Las Vegas' Wynn Hotel & Casino. Sir Lucious Left Foot will be performing one night per month, starting at the end of this month and continuing on throughout the end of 2016. There's no word on whether Big Boi will show or whether this will be the anxiously-awaited introduction to his DJ alter-ego, DJ Daddy Fat Scratch, but suppose we'll find out by February's end. On top of the solo Vegas show, Big Boi will also be joining his genre-melting supergroup Big Grams (with Phantogram) on the road this summer for the festival crush, the dates for which are listed below.
