Audio: NaS "Daughters" [prod. No I.D.]

With the video for "The Don" slated to drop tomorrow, Nas catches us all unawares with the release of "Daughters," the next single from his forthcoming LP Life is Good (July 17). When I heard the title and saw the artwork for this song, I just assumed the hook would be a loop of his "more conscious of the way we raise our daughters" line from "If I Ruled The World." It's not that but I will take this No I.D.-produced slow-banger anyway--kind of the antidote to the "Black Girl Lost" sequel we just got, or a plan to not lose 'em in the first place maybe. Real grown man talk worthy of Nas.
