President Barack Obama wrote a letter to Nipsey Hussle’s family.

Karen Civil read the letter at the memorial at Staples Center. In the letter, Obama says that he never met Nipsey but he admired the work he was doing in his Crenshaw community.

“You’ve been my turn up and my church.” – Lauren London to Nipsey via text in January. She included in the program for his memorial.
