Kamasi Washington Announces New Album Heaven and Earth

The Kamasi Washington is back.
Last week, Kamasi Washington deleted all the posts on his Instagram and then posted a couple of cryptic videos.
We knew something was up. That something is a new album.
Kamasi has announced his first new album since 2017's Harmony of Difference EP.

The project, which will be a double album, is called Heaven and Earth. On his Instagram and Twitter he wrote a long caption explaining the significance of the title:

There is no release date yet. But maybe Kamasi will play a couple of cuts at Caochella next weekend.
