Cornelius Plus - Futureland

Bronx representative and “rap-futurist” Cornelius Plus takes a fresh approach to spitting on his progressive, effervescent eight-track debut Futureland.

Futureland revolves around this idea: what if you could speak things into existence as easily as you request a song from Alexa or Siri? What if instead of just getting information, you could create an entire world with your words. For me, that world is Futureland and this project is what it sounds like. It’s the world I wanna see

The Legion - Three The Bronx Way

Uptown trio The Legion put on for the birthplace of hip-hop with eleven tracks of true school heat titled Three The Bronx Way.

Hailing from hip-hop’s birthplace, The Bronx, NY, The Legion are back to solidify their already-storied legacy. Molecules, Dice Man and Chucky Smash once again combine forces to deliver their BX slick talk over Cules’ gritty tracks. They enlist the help of fellow artist Dres (Black Sheep) as well as Sadat X (Brand Nubian) and embark on a journey to further uphold the sound that the BX made popular some 40 something years ago. Traditional sounds with beats and cuts included.
