Best Videos To Drop Last Week: Tony Yayo, Meek Mill, PinkPantheress, Ice Spice & More

Last week video releases from Tony Yayo, Meek Mill, PinkPantheress, and Ice Spice were on our radar.

Tony Yayo returns with a video for his new single "Clown You When You're Down."

PinkPantheress and Ice Spice connect for "Boy's a liar Pt. 2."

Meek Mill drops off a video for "Don't Follow The Heathens Freestyle."

GloRilla shares a video for her latest track "Internet Trolls."

Tony Yayo – “Clown You When You’re Down”

Tony Yayo presents his latest era with “Clown When You’re Down” his newest single. Directed by Shawn Thomas, the Brooklyn rapper is seen navigating the slopes in Canada in the clip. He’s reflective throughout the entire video too. The stark white background is a sleek contrast to much of what is filmed. His next album titled Latest is on the horizon.

PinkPantheress, Ice Spice – “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2”

We didn’t have a PinkPantheress and Ice Spice link up on our 2023 Bingo card, but it works. For the tightly edited collaboration, “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” the Bronx rapper unleashes a laidback series of rhymes that land extremely well. The video is a fun watch, the duo is spotted lollygagging throughout Manhattan – at one point there’s even a mini-party on a subway car. Fusing both of their sounds together was genius, it’s a bop.

GloRilla – “Internet Trolls”

GloRilla aims her anger at folks on the internet that are always yapping away with pointless thoughts and opinions. “Internet Trolls” is also a sleekly edited video that points to the level of investment CMG is pumping into Glo. The video is relatable and the Memphis rapper gets to shine quite a bit throughout it.

Meek Mill – “Don’t Follow The Heathens Freestyle”

Never the one to completely disappear, Meek Mill surfaces with a new freestyle. Shot by Carter Visions, the video is straightforward. He annihilates the bass-heavy beat. Is an album coming? We hope so.

Gloss Up, Slimeroni, K Carbon, Aleza – “Eeny Meeny Miny Moe”

Memphis rapper Gloss Up is on a roll. Last week following the release of her new mixtape Before The Gloss Up she unleashed the video for “Eeny Meeny Miny Moe.” In it, she’s back with her gang from “Set The Tone” and they’re back serving up slick, memorable lines. Diesel Filmz manages to capture the energy of each groupmate which isn’t a small feat.
