Stones Throw producer and MC Pyramid Vritra takes the hot seat to put together a track from three random pieces of vinyl in the latest edition of Rhythm Roulette from Mass Appeal. Things begin easily enough with a trip to Mount Analog Records in Los Angeles. The process becomes a bit more difficult once Vritra gets the records back to the lab and realizes exactly how abstract some of his purchases truly are. While the final product ultimately requires him to sample a bit more than he had planned, things end up coming together rather nicely once all is said and done.
