It's been an eventful year for DJ Shadow. In June, the legendary selector and producer dropped his fifth studio album, The Mountain Will Fall. He's released eye-grabbing visuals for the singles "Nobody Speak" and the album's title track, following it all with a tour in support of the album (the dates for which are listed below.) Now just before he steps out onto the tour's second leg, he's posting up at Madlib's Rappcats pop-up shop in LA to bid farewell to hundreds of vaulted vinyl doubles and musical oddities of all sorts in a fire sale that should be on every crate-digger's radar.
You can find it next weekend, September 10th and 11th, at 5636 York Blvd from noon until 6PM. Be sure to arrive nice and early to get a good glimpse at the inventory, as there's no telling just what you'll find. Hit the link below for more details and catch Shadow on the run at the end of September. His new album The Mountain Will Fall is available to purchase on iTunes today.
