Deltron 3030 marks their return with a visit to WNYC's Soundcheck where they drop a crazy live in-studio performance of "The Return" and "Nobody Can" - standout tracks from their Event II LP, which dropped on September 30th. The band takes us on a ride through the year 3040 with a performance that boasts a 3-piece rhythm section. Though a bit less formidable than the full orchestra Deltron has been keeping in their back pocket for live shows, the addition of drums, bass and guitar gives their in-studio performance a decidedly strong presence. Deltron's set is bookended by an interview with host John Schaefer, who does his best to get to the bottom of the narrative behind their otherworldly sound and exactly what makes the trio tick.
