D'Angelo & The Vanguard Announce 'The Second Coming' U.S. Tour
D'Angelo & The Vanguard have slowly but surely made their way across the pond and back again, but today, all the d'sciples can rejoice in the announcement of his very first headlining US tour since the Voodoo years. I know you've all been getting salty over the fact that NYC and Europe have gotten all the live love in the wake of his seismic comeback piece Black Messiah, but it now appears that the unveiling of the Forrest Hills date with Gary Clark Jr. was just the tip, as the entire month of June will find him sprinting across the country, delivering his funked-out sermon on the masses. The tour jumps off in Oakland on June 7th, running through LA, Denver, KC, Atlanta, Dallas, Philly, DC and more. You can peep the full list of dates below, just be sure you bust out that wallet as soon as you do, as these stubs will literally fly. Pleasant bidding, y'all. Grab Black Messiah on iTunes today.
