BJ The Chicago Kid and Big K.R.I.T. are both artists who have put in years of hard work to get where they're at, and both are enjoying arguably the most important and successful years of their careers. Now the Midwestern crooner and Southern rhyme-creator cross paths on the new single "The Resume," which highlights the best qualities of both artists over a single brilliant beat.
"The Resume" comes from BJ's upcoming release In My Mind, which is slated to drop in the early months of 2016. It'll feature, in addition to K.R.I.T., cats like Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and OG Maco. It's a powerhouse lineup, but for the moment we couldn't ask for anything beyond "The Resume," which marches cool and confident like a gospel track, but with slightly more devilish intentions at work.
