Issa Rae has released a trailer for the second season of her show Insecure.

The two-minute video finds Rae trying to navigate the dating world following her breakup with Lawrence, which doesn't seem to be going well. However, we do get brief scenes of Lawrence who is still dealing with the aftermath of his and Rae's breakup too, as well as Rae's best friend Molly who discovers that she is making less than her white colleague.

Aside from Insecure Rae will also be working on her first full-length project this year. Titled Empress of Serenity, the film will feature Bill Hader as an animal rights lawyer who is shocked by the news of his mother passing away. Encouraged to go on a 45-day cruise to heal by his estranged father, Hader’s character ends up befriending Rae’s character Michelle, who is described as a reclusive kindred spirit. The film is loosely based on author David Foster Wallace‘s book of the same name. Production on the film is slated to begin sometime in August.
