Robert Deniro Ethers Donald In A Merciless New Video
Plenty of punditsand celebrities have spoken out against Donald Trump's campaign as the Republican nominee for president of the United States, but few were as pointed as Robert DeNiro.
In a video that surfaced on Saturday, the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award-winning actor - best known for roles in The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear and Goodfellas - lets the Donald have it.
"He's so blatantly stupid. He'sa punk, he's a dog, he's a pig, he's a con, a bullshit artist, a mutt who doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't do his homework, doesn't care, think he's gaming society, doesn't pay his taxes," DeNiro fumed. "He's an idiot, Colin Powell said it best, he's a national disaster. He's an embarrassment to this country.
"He talks how he wants to punch people in the face? Well, I'd like to punch him in the face," he added.

The video was part of the Vote Your Future campaign, which features footage of celebrities such asLeonardo DiCaprio, Kendall Jenner, andJulia Robertsspeaking about issues that are important to them, and encouraging people to vote. The video on Vote Your Future's web site is decidedly nonpartisan-which is whyDeNiro's video landed on the cutting room floor.
The Independent reports that Anonymous Content, the company that produced the footage, said couldn't use DeNiro's full video as part of the campaign (he still appears in the group video), but still felt the video needed to be shared. They opted to post the video online, outside of the campaign itself.
The video was released shortly after 2005tapes of Trump surfaced on Friday afternoon, in whichhewas caughtspeaking to Access Hollywood host Billy Bush about coming onto a married woman. He adds,"when youre a star they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab them by the p*ssy. You can do anything."
