Earlier this week Action Bronson shared that he'd undergone emergency surgery in Alaska while shooting an episode of his food-centric web series Fuck, That's Delicious. Speculations flew as to what might have threatened the MC's health, but now it seems all has been revealed. Calling in to speak with Ebro of Hot 97, Bronson cleared up the matter. "This was an old power lifting injury when I was an old man," he said, going on to describe an old hernia injury that had been a minor issue for years prior to this week's incident.
"Because I’m so active, and physical, and such a physical performer," Bronson said, "that shit doesn’t stick some times." The good news is that all things Action will eventually be well. However, the surgery and rehabilitation will keep BamBam in Alaska for several weeks. "It just caught up with me in the wrong place...[Alaska is] a beautiful place but I'd like to be home right now, to tell you the truth, laying on my bed." For those looking for a bit of good news--Bronson has recently lost 50 pounds and is confident he'll hit his goal weight of 230 soon. Listen to the phoner interview below.
