Twenty-eight years later and De La is still out here
De La Soul's latest video starts with Dave talking about his health issues. The legendary rapper is fighting congestive heart failure. Because of his health, Dave can't do his usual strenuous touring schedule.
Something he talks about openly in this new video:
"I'm ready just to get back to the stage. I miss that. I love traveling. I love being around my guys and I want that back."

The rest of the video, which is for the song "Royalty Capes," features scenes of the legendary group touring all around the world, from Nice, France to Rotterdam, Holland to Brussels, Belgium.
The scenes are intercut with cuts of Gina Loring doing the spoken word chorus.

The "Royalty Capes" video is the third from the group's and the Anonymous Nobody... which came out in 2016.
