Marvel Teases a Very Buddy Cop 'Hawkeye' Series with New Trailer

The first two episodes of Hawkeye premiere on November 24th.

Creeping up on a month until its arrival, Marvel has released a new trailer for their incoming Hawkeye series.

While the first preview of the show depicted the titular bow-and-arrow-wielding hero as a sentimental family man just trying to make up for lost time with his kids, the latest glimpse at the series teases a very buddy cop tone to Clint Barton's small screen spinoff. Centering on Barton and his new protege, Kate Bishop, the new minute-long clip trails the hero's many escapes from many near-death experiences, all while teaching Bishop the ropes. While the plot of the series remains almost entirely under wraps, we do know it takes place in the aftermath of the Thanos' snap and, perfectly in line with its holiday season release, seems to have a heavy Christmas tie-in.

Though there's still no sign of Yelena Belova, little sister and torch-bearer of Scarlett Johansson's late Black Widow, according to the show's IMDB page, Belova will figure prominently in the series (picking up right where the post-credits scene of Widow's standalone origin story left off,) and will appear in all six episodes of the show.

Hawkeye, is set to arrive just in time for Turkey Day with a two-episode premiere on November 24th, bridging the gap between the November 5th release of The Eternals and the December 17th drop of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
