Pass The Popcorn: Joey Bada$$ Joins The Cast Of 'Mr. Robot'
USA's Mr. Robotproved to be a surprising success last year. The hacker-against-the-corporate-world psychological thriller aired last year to critical adoration, revolving around the madness and misadventures of its mentally-unstable protagonist and his conquest to usurp Corporate America by hitting them where it hurts: their servers. And while there hasn't been much in the way of news pertaining to a second season of the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has just nabbed one of Bed-Stuy's finest in Joey Bada$$ for a supporting role in the show.
Badmon will play friend to lead, Rami Malek, in the much-anticipated sophomore season of the hit program, which is slated for a summer 2016 unveiling, though no precise date has been announced just yet. There's no telling how much screen-time young Bada$$ will get, but if he displays even a fraction of the magnetism we get from him on records or stages, we envision a lengthy stay on for him on Mr. Robot. Unless, of course, they kill him off, or he turns out to be yet another figment of the Mr. Robot's imagination. Shit, was that spoiler?
