Talented singer MannyWellz is back with a soulful new single.
It's been more than a year since Nigerian-born, Maryland-based singer MannyWellz dropped a project. That was when he released his infectious Soulfro album — a project that took him two years to complete.
After going months without dropping a project, MannyWellz is back. We are ecstatic to premiere MannyWellz' new single, the dreamy-sounding "Soul on Fire." The song was produced by MannyWellz himself.
In an email, the singer explained the meaning and process behind making the song. He wrote:
I was scrolling through the gram and noticed a lot of people posting celebrity couples as relationship goals. I then started wondering about what my ideal romantic situation would look like and that inspired the context/lyrics of the song and I was producing the song. I'd like for my woman to set my soul on fire while I do the same to her. I pray my relationship is centered around Christ and we become trendsetters in this generation. Showing people what real love looks like beyond what's seen on Instagram.
More encouraging is the fact that it seems like more music is coming soon:
