Pell Shares An Animated Visual For The Infectious Remix Of His 2014 Single "Runaway"
2014 (which seems like ages ago, at this point) graced us with some absolutely stellar contestants in the race for the left-field’s heart. But in all the clutter of molly&melancholy mood music, N’awlins upstart (and First Look alum) Pell emerged as one of it’s most promising new stars. Today, we have a fresh new clip from the half-rap, half-croon cat in the animated visual for a delightful remix of his 2014 standout “Runaway” featuring LA-based synth-pop clique White Sea. The visual manages to capture the airy r&bibbity of this newly transformed cut in a kaleidoscopic animation that echoes the cosmic loneliness of the composition, charting the young rapper’s narrative as it travels from the depths of space to more earthly terrain. Pell’s full-length debut Floating While Dreaming has been on the market and getting plenty of burn in the nearly full year since its drop and is available to purchase on iTunes today. You can watch the animated visual for Pell’s lovely remix of “Runaway” below, just be sure to cop the single if it’s good to your earholes. And if you happen to be across the great pond, catch your boy live and direct once he breaks out of the states for the European leg of his tour, the dates for which can viewed below.
