One of the most qualified selector/producers in the game DJ Spinna breaks down the George Duke sample from J Dilla's immortal beat for the Slum Village featuring "Thelonious" off Common's classic Soulquarian LP Like Water For Chocolate. The flip is from a 1976 record and without giving the fun parts away, another track titled "Dr. Spock Gets Funky" is clearly visible in the shots of the label. Which kind of says it all.
