Hiatus Kaiyote Share Stunning Live Clips Of Grammy Week Performances
Way back in February, Hiatus Kaiyote came to LA with Grammy fever running through their collective domes. Their Choose Your Weapon standout "Breathing Underwater" was nominated for Best R&B Performance, their second career nomination, finally getting the recognition they deserve alongside fellow nominees, The Weeknd, Andra Day, Tamar Braxton and Jeremih. While rubbing elbows with Tinseltown's finest, HK found themselves performing a career-spanning set for Fuse TV's Live Alive show, touching on several Choose Your Weapon cuts as well as selections from Tawk Tomahawk, including their first nominated single "Nakamarra," which featured an assist from Q-Tip.
Today, as they ready themselves to take on the states once more this summer with a string of tour dates that will find them sharing the stage with early HK fan, Erykah Badu, the Aussie avant-soul quartet has freed five clips from their Grammy Week festivities that should hold you over until they make way to your neck of the woods.
