Speaking on why he told Drake not to respond to Pusha-T, he said:
I saw this going to a place that I feel would have ended his career if Drake would’ve put out this song that he had on him.
Prince also said that Drake had a response in the chamber, one that he claims would have been devastating.

Oh no doubt about it. The ingredients were overwhelming. I know for a fact that it would’ve been bad for Kanye and my man. It wouldn’t have been good, it's beyond music at that point. It's gonna affect the livelihood, it's gonna interfere with his entire lifestyle from that day forward.
Check out the entire interview with Prince below. The Drake comments start at around the seven-minute mark.
On Sunday, DTLR Radioreleased a conversation they had with Houston OG and Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince. The Houston legend has had a long relationship with Drake (his son Jas introduced Drake to Lil Wayne.)
In the interview, Prince talked about how the Pusha/Drake beef got too disrespectful. And he revealed that he told Drake to put an end to the beef:
I made an OG call to Drake this morning, telling him, I don't want you to respond to this. We gon' put this to bed because we can't get in a pigpen with pigs because pigs turn into hogs and hogs get slaughtered.
This isn't the first time Prince has intervened in a Drake beef. Back in 2015, Prince went after Puff Daddy after Puff allegedly put his hands on Drake.
Will Drake listen? Time will tell. Over the weekend Drake hopped up on Instagram, popping up in Smiley 61's comments:
