Kanye and Kid Cudi's "Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)" May Compete for Best Rock Grammys

Kanye and Kid Cudi might be up for rock nominations at the 2019 Grammys.
Kid Cudi‘s “Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)” might be included in The Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance categories at the 2019 Grammys.
According to a TMZ report Kanye’ West‘s team at Def Jam reportedly submitted the collaborative track featuring Ty Dolla $ign for both categories. Submissions have reportedly made it through the screening process and have been sent through to the voters for the first round ballot. If the submissions earn enough votes in the first round, they’ll be nominated.
West’s team also reportedly submitted for the Producer of the Year category. Over the summer, G.O.O.D. Music rolled out five Kanye-produced albums. Two of those albums— Pusha T‘s Daytona and Teyana Taylor‘s K.T.S.E. are up for Grammys as well.
Previous winners in the rock categories Kanye and Cudi may be up for include David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Paramore, and Jack White.
