2022 Grammy Nominations Full List: Kanye West, JAY-Z, Nas & More

JAY-Z, Kanye West, J. Cole, and Nas are a few names we weren’t surprised to see for the 2022 Grammy Award nominations.

The 64th annual Grammys are swiftly approaching. Last year’s ceremony was marked by performances by talents including Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and Doja Cat.

2021 was an expansive year for new music even amid the ongoing pandemic. To be frank hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul were genres that we’ve been engaging with most.

Last year, Grammy winners were a bit reflective of music conversations that were happening online and IRL. For example, Houston’s Megan Thee Stallion took home four awards, including “Best New Artist” and “Best Rap Song” for “Savage” featuring Beyonce which makes sense given 2020 was her breakout year.

We’re curious to see who the Recording Academy has had its eye on during the second pandemic year. Will it be of-the-moment artists or acts that are currently household names? Or will the Academy decide to highlight those who haven’t ever really received their flowers?

Keep scrolling and you’ll find the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Awards below. Head to the Grammys official site for more information.
