According to NPR, Shkreli's appeal for an early release was turned down by judge ruling of 3-0. On top of the sustained sentence, judges reaffirmed that Shkreli must forfeit $7.3 million in assets, adding another $388,336 in restitution and a $75,000 fine. Consequence of Sound adds that of the relinquished assets, Shkreli's $2 million copy of The Wu-Tang Clan's Once Upon a Time in Shaolin is included. Which means, of course, the one-of-one album could be heading back to auction at some point in the near future.
