Unknown mortal orchestra necessary evil
Unknown Mortal Orchestra have released a gorgeously-animated new music video for "Necessary Evil," off their Multi-Love LP.
Like an extra-psychedelic episode of "Adventure Time," the clip follows two young protagonists through a weird, warped world. Are those sprinkles and leopard spots in the background, or have we been staring at the sun too long? Maybe that LSD is finally kicking in. Man, it's too early for all this.
"The video is an abstract love story about two characters whose insecurities and paranoia eventually drive them apart," UMO stated in a press release. "I tried to show both character's perspectives using elements from the lyrics. I had a team of amazing animators and friends."
