Bob Dylan Announces New Album + Tour w/ Former Sweetheart Mavis Staples
In the 1960s, there may not have been an odder couple than Bob Dylan and Mavis Staples. Their love was far from a private affair, ending a seven-year relationship with a rejected marriage proposal. Each have moved on to inarguable icon status with voices that have provided immeasurable contributions to the American music canon and have proven to be vital inspirations to the ongoing battle for civil rights across the globe.
And so, with the announcement of Dylan's 37th studio album, Fallen Angels, the duo are set to reunite, at least onstage, with a massive new grip of tour dates. The album has yet to receive a firm release date, but each ticket sale comes tied to a redemption code for one CD.
