On November 2nd, Asif Kapadia's heart-crushing Amy Winehouse documentary Amy will land on-demand and in DVD/Bluray forms. But before you can take the film home with you, Kapadia's relinquished a candid clip of the modern soul giant before the Black To Black fame, roaming the streets of NYC, refraining from using a guide or map of any sort as she traverses the bright lights and taxi cabs of the Big Apple. Given Amy's expansive collection of camcorder videos and archival materials, it's no real surprise that the clip omitted from the film (not much action here) but it does offer a keen glimpse at Winehouse's relentless dauntless disposition no matter which side of the pond she happens to be on.
