American Hustle is a new film from Silver Linings Playbook- director David O. Russell. The movie aims to tell the story of Irving Rosenfield, a con artist played by Christian Bale, who was part of one of the most infamous FBI sting operations of all time, Abscam. Set in the 1970's, it is sure to include mobsters, FBI informants, and a good share of criminals. The cast includes Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Louis C.K. among others. It seems that although the plot is very much based on real life and facts, events will be dramatized and the makers' aren't claiming this to be a "straight adaptation." The film will be released on Christmas Day. Check out the trailer below.
