Over the years, Atlanta has proven to be fertile ground for the proliferation of forward minded funkateers. The enigmatic trio All Cows Eat Grassis living proof, with a sound that's as unconventional as their name. Today we have the pleasure of bringing the world a dazzling remix project from the group in the form of The Kool Collection LP, which was concocted during a period of refining their live show, which we hear is as crucial of a viewing as this piece is a listening. It finds selections from their two previous EPs reworked, remixed and altogether reimagined through a synthy and sultry new prism that's as infectious as anything you've heard in the pop world, all the while maintaining a sleek and simple cool.

And what more would you expect from a collective of integrally involved Wondaland contributors? The group's lead producer T. Brown has served as keyboardist and musical director for Janelle Monaé for the last six years running, while its other members Reneeka Rae and Jeff Cohran have acted as producers for her high-voltage stage show over the same period. So if you've yet to catch wind of this formidable new presence in the far reaches of the left-field, be sure to cop their previous works a la iTunes today. Get familiar with All Cows Eat Grass and The Kool Collection remix piece below. If you're an ATLien yourself, check out the crew's heralded dance party on December 17th at The Basement in Atlanta.
