New Prince music is coming soon, according to the late musician's estate advisor.

Speaking with Variety, Troy Carter revealed that unreleased music from the Purple One will be "coming soon" but did not offer any other details about the recordings.

"He was a guy who practically lived in a recording studio, and once we started going through [the unreleased material] we really started finding some gems," Carter, who is also Spotify's global head of creative services, said. "I heard some music the other night that was pretty mind-blowing and we're getting some stuff mixed right now. We've got great projects in the works that I'm excited to talk about."

Late last year came news that Prince's estate and Comerica Bank & Trust, the company that is in charge of managing the artist's assets, had to relocate millions of dollars worth of rare Prince material from Paisley Park in Minnesota to save the items from "mold and water damage."

According to Comerica the move had to be done to make sure material from Prince's vault (which included 30 unreleased Prince albums, worth around $200 million) was not destroyed because of the water damage.

Recently, a new Prince concert film and live experience was announced. Titled PRINCE: Live on the Big Screen, the “special concert event,” which is taking place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, is being described as follows:

"The concert will feature newly remastered and never-before-released audio and video of Prince accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a super-group of musicians who performed alongside Prince throughout his legendary career. The live experience will showcase Prince in his own inimitable sound and style, highlighting the incendiary energy he brought to each performance."

Scheduled for the second anniversary of Prince's 2016 death, the event is a part of Celebration 2018, a four day event honoring the Purple Rain musician. Celebration 2018 will make place from April 19 to 22 but PRINCE: Live on the Big Screen is occurring on April 21. Tickets for the concert are currently on sale.
